Default does anyone else think the eg body is too weak/flimsy?

guys i love these cars .. but i notice on my ej1 that my door, quarter panels, hood, etc are made of very weak metal, i mean i know that if i punch anyone of these, it will dent.

do u guys agree that the body is just too fragile. I mean i'd love to buy another 92-95 after this one .. but they seem way to easy to ding, i mean id hate to have it repainted .. and dump a ton of money into it, and still get a ding in it from barely anything

i dunno thats my look on it, i think there should be some way to strengthen everything b/c i treat my car like its gold ... i dont even like when ppl lean on it, but i mean i dont think id have that problem w/ any other car .. u know what i mean?

i just want to see what u guys think

Yeah! We should call Honda and get our car's recalled so they can fix the flimsiness!

Oh wait: these cars were like $8000 brand ******* new. WTF do you expect?

ok .. i didnt expect to get flamed .. i just meant like .. i was just trying to say that dumping a ton of money into the exterior would make it looks aweseom, but then once u get a ding or somethin it has to really **** ppl off .. so it just seems like hit or miss w/ making these cars look beautiful

i think if take care of the car and watch who you park next to(and where) you'll have less of that problem. i always try to park near luxury cars or old people because you know they don't want to mess up their own cars when opening the doors.

ima bust the mad EDM bmw door/roof conversion mang!... err like someone else said saturn door conversion. i agree, but i dont see where this thread is going/where you planned on it going. maybe you should .... get cnc machined aircraft aluminum body panels!? or you could buy a toyota and drive that on the weekdays less chance of screwing up the exterior that way.

Yeah I went through the automatic car washes once, and never went back because of the exact same thought.. sounded like large hail drops on the top of my car.
