should i boost my H22A4
you know, normally, i'd give you the info and a straight up answer to close the thread instead of being an *** and tell you to search because that's just the kind of guy i am, but on this topic, you really have to search.
there are MANY variables involved.
When boosting a factory N/A fuel injected vehicle, nothing is guaranteed. That's all I can say for sure.
For example, it depends on how well you have built your internals how much PSI you are able to boost safely.

i have been known that H series are very dangerous to boost cuz of high compression. Im new to H series so i dont know. Im more familiar to B series and i know that alot alot people boost their GSR. GSR has same compression 10:1 like H then I should be able to boost the H and also stay on the safe side right?
I can find ton and ton and ton info on boosting B serie but not many on H series so people boosting their H please help me out

why? JRSC are expensive and you get like 15% over stock power.
but yeah Turbo it up and get good tuning and it should last a long time

That's as clear as you can get it. Same goes for any FI'd motor.

Well, yes this topic is always coming up. For me, I wouldn't boost the h22a4. Anyways, I would just keep it N/A and keep it as a nice clean DD. But if you want something more powerful or something else to boost, just get yourself a new car or a used one, or if your into Preludes, get a 4th gen Prelude S with an F22a1 and then boost it. Remember it is what I would do.

Thats cause you have to do more then just throw on a JRSC and call it a day.

Why would u go with a f22a1? thats a 120hp motor.
Get a JDM f22b , same as a h23 except everything is set to be turbo'd and its already running at 9.1 compression, which is nice for boosting. It practically was built to be boosted.
Just make sure ur runnign neptune or hondata ecu, so that way it doesnt throw a knock sensor code and run in limp

No, it's a 130hp engine and it has IRON sleeves stock, so there's not a need to resleeve the block to run forged pistons.
I'm not saying it's the best choice, but it does have advantages.
