Default stainless header performance benefit?

heres my situation, i ordered a dc ceramic coated 4-2-1 1pc header for my car, its a jdm b18c btw, not that it matters anyway, i get it today and they sent me the wrong part. it was the correct box, ceramic coated 4-2-1 1pc header. but i open it up, and dc must have packaged it wrong because it was the polished stainless header, which retails for $687! I really don't see any benefit of having polished stainless besides bling bling look at me and my $687 shiney header. am i wrong here? not that i'm complaining, i usally get jipped, so i figure now its time i got mine. question is, should i sell my $687 header and take a profit, then buy my ceramic coat, or just put it on?

keep that header, the stainless steel runs hotter then the ceramic, which means better exhaust flow...
