Default oil pressure gauges drops to zero @ idle & 30psi under throttle... after oil change?

I bought a brand new electronic oil pressure gauge recently and it was always acting up (reading a constant 25psi under idle/WOT, but just the other day I changed my oil and checked it for leaks and all is good. But after driving for about 10 min the oil presusre would drop to zero
Give it gas back to 25ish...??? i think im gunna send it back If no one has any ideas...
also is there anyway to check the resistance of the sending unit to judge oilpressure?
cause its @ about 220 ohms under idle (zero-5 psi) and 140ish under throttle (25-30 psi)
The motor has 40k on it sooo I HIGHLY doubt its a failure, but i may be wrong. Soo i f anyone could give me a hand or has any ideas for me Id be more than appreciative.

And this has what to do with appearance?

Anywho it sounds like you have wired it up wrong, re-check all your wires and use a multi-meter to determine which ones are 12v constant and 12v ignition, i'd imagine you have them mixed up.

what kind of oil filter are you using...

we had a teg come into the shop with a oil pressure problem and vtec wasn't enguaging... turned out to be a FRAM filter that was causing the problem.... i wouldn't recomend those... EVER!

I can't believe this is even being entertained in this forum.
