I have a 95 JDM SiVTEC LSD.... but I broke the ESSENTIAL cup holder! Now it doesn't stay down when I put it down.. The parts must have pinged off somewhere in the car. Can anyone take a picture of their pop/lock mechanism so that I know what to look for?

 

look for a small metal clip with 90 bends on both ends
its about an inch and a half long and as thick as like a bigger safety pin

normally falls right below the cup holder

Ah ok... I did get it.. then I lost it again so need to take another look. Couldn't get it to attach properly though without it pinging off really easily Does it somehow sit under the metal and then attach into the groove?

 

yep
you have to unscrew that metal plate spring thing...put the clip backinto the grooves...then scre the metal psinrg thing back in
