Default CEL Code 1 - Primary Oxygen Sensor - b16a2 swap on 96 civic

I'm getting ticked off that my CEL keeps popping up about 30 mins. of driving and especially when gunning it. Not to mention the annoying code 20 - ELD. I've already replaced the primary oxygen sensor 3 times 2 with denso units and 1 bosch. this is a 4 wire.

my setup is as follows
b16a2 swap, no catalytic converter, welded a flex pipe to join the downpipe and b pipe, running obd1 p30 ecu via obd2a-obd1 jumper harness.

could not having a cat be the problem??? what other things do i check for?

Is the wiring harness stock or did you do anything to it...like lengthen it?

the grounds are fine, one to the tranny and one to the cylinder head. would a bad ground cause that o2 sensor problem????
