well i wanted to know if the rsx type s owners are happy with there buy? or do you think you would be happier buying the 06 si coupe?
i'm stuck in the middle and i don't know which one i want to get? any help would be good thanks

 

i'd get Si probably if i had the choice. LSD. however, i think the type s's are 100x better looking. my 2 cents

 

new Si's are cool, but i love jdm stuff, so i would go RSX. I drive an ep3 now, and I love jdm'ing it out

I'm not a type-S owner, but I would still get an RSX.

I am ridiculously biased.

 

I'm happy with my buy. I love my car to death, but I suffer from "the grass is greener" syndrom and always look to the next best thing. From an objective point of view though, between the new Si and the RSX, I would go with the Si right now since the RSX is no more after 07. They have already stopped production in more factories. The Si has taken its place and I think it was a good move.

The RSX was never worthy of the Acura Luxury line, leather seats with no options for HIDs, NAV, or really anything! The aftermarket has taken a loving to the engine, the K20, but not the car itself. There is good support out there over the past few years, but your choices are limited to the basic food groups for most addons. 3 or 4 choices. So unless you make custom parts, you're not going to stray too far from the guy lined up next to you.

I see the Civic having a much better following in terms of individuality when it comes to modding in the future. Just my .02

Whatever, I'm very happy with my RSX. I've been through 8 cars (for various reasons) in the last 3 years and I'm glad I got it. It's relatively new, looks nice, gets compliment all the time, plus it just feels great driving it. I think I can live without another Civic. Plus the fact that they're not made anymore makes it even better.

 

just think about this. Who do you normally see in an acura? People that are not little children and reving at every stop light. Every child and ricer will have an si because of the hype, give it a year and see

looks alone have the rsx waaaaaaaay ahead of the si.

i think i like the "regular" interior of the rsx better than the si. i'm not a big fan of the dual display of the si.

do you want a civic or something a bit more upscale?

 

Type S for sure..I just like it more than the Si.I was never a real civic fan anyways..I love integras/rsx....just my opinion
