good numbers, you just need to get a valve adjustment done and that should fix it

you think so, could there still be a possibility of a bent valve or is a lash adjustment all i really need? im debating on wether to take the head off and just replace a valve or go thru with the adjustment. Im hoping ot have this car running by this Sat

might as well try the easy one first and do a valve lash adjustment, it only takes 10 minutes to do, it might just fix it

yeah, those numbers are fine; nothing to worry about. A valve adjustment will certainly help, but it's nothing urgent.

I know there is - I saw it a little while ago, but I forgot where. A few minutes of searching will probably get you something.
