my motor as 323000 miles i have a nice tick from the motor that i can't get out. and i'm smoking blue smoke is it possible that i just have a bent valve or bad stem seal? or is it more likely be a piston ring?

 

ticking from the engine is usually a bent valve, try to figure out where it is comming from, if its from the head, its a bent valve.
blue smoke= burning oil
could be a bad stem seal but with 323k miles, my bet is on the piston rings.

 

arite well i'm going to swap anothe d15 in the car and i'll rebuilt the "blown" motor so i'll find the prob it won't be for a little i need to save up for a new front end my bushing are shot. and i have to take them apart to do the motor so i'm just going to do them both at the same time.
