FYI, there is an ecu thread stickied at the top of the forum...

code 8 TDC sensor
code 10 IAT sensor

for the TDC sensor, its either you've skipped a tooth on your timing (you'd be able to tell)... or parts of your dizzy are bad. make your life easy and try another ecu. if you still get those codes, then replace the dizzy.

IAT (intake are temp) is the sensor on 99-00 si's that plugs into the intake arm. on your hatch its a white sensor previously on the back of the intake manifold. extend the wiring, and plug it into the intake arm, or mount the old sensor onto your intake manifold (requires drilling).

Could this be cuz of code 8????

yessir, definitely possible.

i would see if something is accidentally grounded, or wet. dont keep on buying coils, cause they're just gonna keep blowing. check your grounds, fuses, and stupid stuff like that. search too
