5th gen

do i just pull the clock/radio fuse under the hood?

is that in the fues box thats under the hood? doesnt the clock/radio fuse control the ecu which controls the injectors?

no, the red circle is just the fuse puller. The two fuel pump fuses are the two 7.5 fuses circled in blue

your clock and radio wouldnt work and it would reset the ecu.

I didn't take any fuses out on my car. Compression was great and it still runs great if that makes you feel any better.

I disconnect all 4 fuel injectors and leave all fuses in the car. The wire connectors to the injectors just pop right off. This way I know no fuel will enter the chamber. With the fuel pump off there is still going to be some fuel pressure that will let the injectors work for a while until all the pressure is bled out.

Spark plugs need to be out also, but that's obvious because that's were the compression test tool goes.

either way will work, and a little fuel in there will not really hurt anything, but I'm **** like that.

You're going to be cranking the engine over many times and it'll make it a lot easier on your battery and starter if the engine isn't making compression.

Yeah, the compression tester goes in the spark plug hole for the cylinder you are testing and seals the cylinder just like the spark plug.

you can only test one cylinder at a time.
