Do not buy Falken Ziex!!
I put the 2055015 on my itr wheels and they are horrible! No traction what so ever!! The only reason why I bought them was because my bridgestones were really really bad and these were the only ones they had in stock!
Should have waited!!! DAmn!!

Give the Azenis a little while. The first few times I ran them, I was sliding quite a bit, but now that I have run the for a week+ and an autocross, they grip much better.

I had a set of those on my Prelude for awhile. I was real skeptical about getting the Azeniss because the Ziexs were such crap tires I didn't trust the entire Falken line.
Fortunately they got the Azenis right.

Bridgestones are great but really expensive, my friends got Falkens on his car said they're crap in the wet, think Falkens are borderline budget stuff overhere as they are cheaper than other brands
Falkens may be cheap, but that doesn't mean that they aren't awesome.
Azenis
I guess that's why I'm having horrible traction. They are brand new(1000 miles) and I recently got an alignment. The ziex cost about $55 a tire. I tried to get Azenis at the time but the guy at discount tire said they aren't any in the country.
i just got some v rate Kumo's and there just ok... it was about 300$ for a set of for, just goes to show you get what you pay for

I got Ziex ZE-502 tires (225/50/VR16)on my Z3 because I was on a road trip and got 11 (yes ELEVEN) nails in my tires. I was in a small town in Georgia, so I had to get these tires just to make it home. They are not great, but they have improved with time. For the first 1000 miles or so they were really greasy. It was easy to swing the tail out. After about 6000 miles, they are much better. I think I'll go with Azenis next time though

Man, I do not understand how your friend can think they are crap in the wet. I have them on my ITR and they are great in the wet. I took them to Gingerman Raceway yesterday and I was very, very impressed with the grip.

Think he was running another type of Falkens, at the time.
