b16 block, type r head?
Alright, someone i know has the stock 2000 si block with a type r head.. how could i tell if its really a type r head, and what is the numbers he should be putting down? has this ever been done, i mean im sure it has, but whats it called.. oh and is it possible to have your nitrous hooked up to your gas pedal so when you hit a certain rpm that the ntirous kicks in? just wannaknow if hes bullshittign or not.
An ITR head will have green paint near the distributor if it hasn't been worn off yet. An ITR head isn't much different from a B16 head aside from the cams, valvetrain, and PnP. He shouldn't expect totally huge numbers but a slight difference. It's called a head swap. Yes, you can hook up nitrous to kick in at a certain RPM.

What he said. Also, about the nitrous thing, it's either a window switch, which opens the N02 for a certain rpm - rpm, or a pill, which pens it at a certain given rpm
