Where do i get the tool that does this?

Check Engine came on, and got this error:

What's the name of this tool and where do i get one? I feel like im the only honda guy that doesnt have one. Autozone?
It's some kind of ecu reading tool or something.. Sorry for the Nub question.

from what i am reading your o2 sensor is bad, right? go to your local part store and pick up a o2 sensor and the socket to remove it. the socket doesn't cost much, as for the o2 sensor, that's a different story!

Go to your local autozone and see if they sell scanners. I think the cheap universal ones are around 100.
If it's OBD-1 you can stick a paperclip in the jumper, turn the key to the on position and count the long & short flashes of the check engine light.

You can scan your own codes by using a paper clip, do a search or go to the FAQ. It tells how and what each code means...No need to spend money!

If it's the O2 sensor I had to remove mine when I changed the header on my EG. I used a number 21 open wrench and it worked fine. Not sure on the EK though.

Works on obd2 as well.

no what everyone is saying.. go to autozone.. they loan tools out for free.. you just pay the fee for what it cost.. so in that case if youy decided to keep it.. you payed for it.. but you can take it home.. and when your done with it.. bring it back and they will give you your money back.
