Default My car seems to sputter for a sec...

When I get on it hard, it seems that right about the VTEC point the carstutters for just a sec...

Im also having problems putting power down while in a turn. I think part 2 is from the balding tires I have... But the hiccup I cant figure out. Is it becasue i drove my CObra all weekend and it was a much smoother operation, so now im just noticing one of my ITR peeves?

Havent done the oil yet. It will be done a week from friday when it goes in for the 30K miles checkup...

i had a similar problem that i posted up in the tech forum...

things to check:

injectors

fuel pump

fpr/ fpg

fuel filter

if you're low on oil, you could fall out of vtec on high g corners..... get a baffled oil pan too!

Dude check these out definitly. I needed a new fuel pump and fuel filter. My ride would do the same crap. It could be something that small or something big. Check the little things first.

Mine has a very fast sputter that ONLY occurs at 3000-3100rpm with the A/C on and under partial load, as in accelerating in traffic.
Just does it for a second at 3100.. by 3200 it's gone.
This sputter is as consistent as clockwork.

I have no clue why. Oh well..

I replace them with every other oil change.

I had a similar experience in my GSR. Mine would sputter between 2500-4000. I changed the plug wires and problem solved.
