Default PBR Ultimate ceramic brake pads

I was searching around on google and it seems that these are the same as Axxis Ultimates? If im not mistaken i've read that Axxis Ultimate pads are excellent. Am i correct? Just wanted to make sure before i purchase from the HT sponser 88rotors.

I wonder if the "new" Axxis ULT is a new compound or the same Ultimate compound with a new name and new box?

Could be new -- the MSDS is dated Dec 05. They may have changed the compound then, which would require them to release a new MSDS.

Magnesium Oxide 7%
Copper 6%
Graphite 5%
Synthetic Mineral Fibre 0.1%

the rest would be stuff they dont have to report

Looks like they may have changed all their compounds -- all the pads at least have new names. If they did, it was about time. Both the MetalMaster and Delux were really long in the tooth. MetalMaster was a good compound -- 20 years ago!

I have the ULT and assumed they were the same as the Ultimates, which I haven't tried. But I love the ULTs; I use my crx for time attack, lapping days and autoX. I've never experienced any fade. They'll squel sometimes on the street and dust a bit but who cares.
