Default Engine swap fun :o

Hey just looking for some thoughts from people on some of the problems I have to think it over tonight and call out and take my earned vacation days :/

My motor is a jdm b16a, its in a 1991 crx si.

I had it in a 1990 hatchback 3 days ago and pulled it out to throw in my crx, and am stripping the hatch and parting it out, I can't afford to build two dream cars, my family is moving away and it will be soon to stop leeching off of them :X
So enough of the sad part!

I basically have 3 problems.

Engine won't crank would be the first . Starter has a good BRAND NEW ran power wire straight from the fuse box. Signal wire is good at the ignition, test light lights up all the way and light turns off and on as I switch the ignition to the start position.
When I test for power at the signal wire where the female terminal connects to the starter, my test light lights up half way, and it stays lit until the ignition is fully turned off.
My guess is GROUNDS! If anyone can say this is a sign of a bad ground that would be great . I'm going to check EVERY single recommended ground that is listed in the service manual, and add any where seems appropiate.
The wiring diagram shows battery wire (always power) to the stud on the starter, and signal wire that is comming from the battery, to the main fuse box, to the ignition, back through and to the started to connect to a male stud. It also shows a ground running off of the starter. I would assume that ground would be covered by the transmission ground, which I have from a stock location next to the clutch cable bracket by where the tranny/block seperation is...

I also do not hear the starter making the normal sound most vehicles do when the ignition is first starting up, I''m not sure the word, but I guess what I said above may fix this?

Next is fuel pump. I do not hear it priming but I cannot hear much with the stupid *** beeping which will be removed first thing tomarrow because it drove me crazy and I almost took my picks and screwdrivers and shoved them through my mint condition door panels out of frusturation.

I assume check for power all the way back, and grounds yet again, if nothing then replace (I have a whole hatch to grab parts off of )

Next is the vacuum line hookups. On a normal obd0 jdm b16a, but I have a USDM ITR throttle body since the TPS took a **** on the b16 throttle body. We think he have that figured out but who knows until we get it started and can do some tests and all that I shoulda snapped a pic of what we got :/
This is something I would really like to learn, would be what each vacuum line is for, and what is being done with it where it is connected. I hate looking at vacuum line diagrams that don't match with my setup, and not knowing whats really going on Any link to literature on this would be great, honda specific of course!

Just looking for maybe some insight and ideas to add to my growing list!

Today sucks :/ I did get my title transfer, temp registration, and 30 days tags though. The engine looks better then it ever did in the hatch back, and I can't wait to see the JDM front end on the crx again!
Oh and a pin broke off somehow on my jdm ecu Half of it is still left, I think it is making contact but I will find out I suppose when I get the car running. The function of the pin is "Alternator" as far as I have read into... I'm guessing a took hit the ecu pin, bending it and breaking it when I tried to connect it not knowing it was bent~!
Worst to worst, I will have to desoder and try to run a new pin in, or a direct 18 ga wire or something out the side of the ecu
