Looks like it is only on JDM and European D15's. Not the non-vtec obd0 USDM d15b2.

More clarification.

i think u can still run DPFI if its dseries. but im not sure. i dont think it would be worth your time, effort, and money to swap just the head. buy the whole setup.

the 3 stage mad VTAAKK yo is not meant for massive power, it is meant more for fuel economy. Its not crazy powerful just because it has three stages.

You are seriously mistaken if you think that you will be haulin uber-*** with this motor.

if you want it for economy, go for it

vtec turn over is between 2700 and 3000 depending on how much gas you're giving it. i suposse its possible to make power from this engine, but its would be a waste of money.if u really need vtec, buy the jdm d15b and work on that motor.

Those are some weak *** motors. Pumping out 92hp of fury (as much as your current engine). They are meant for fuel efficiency, being rated from 500-650kms/tank of gas. D15B is the 120hp rated engine. The equivilant to our D16Z6.

The 3 stage vtec came off 96+ JDM Civics...they put out 130PS (128-ish hp). Theyre not just regular economy motors...theyre kind of a mix between a VTEC-E motor and a regular SOHC VTEC motor. You can find the motors themselves pretty easily on Ebay or something but good luck finding a matching P2J ecu to go with it...

The D15B is a 1.5L engine that is capable of about 54mpg and is rated for about 128HP.

I think that motor will be fine. It has great gas mileage and has enough hp.
