Default Noise when I apply my breaks + burning smell.

These problems aren't related (I don't think atleast). However, when I'm traveling at a moderate speed (20-40mph) and I apply my breaks my car will make a noise.. Sounds sort of like water or even a slight squeeling. The car stops fine, but the noise isn't normal.

Also, when I got out of my car today when I got to work I noticed a burning plastic smell coming from my car. Not sure exactly where it's originating from. Any ideas?

I mainly concerned about the breaks right now. My car is an '87 Accord LX.

did you check the engine to see if it came from under the hood?

Yeah, I only smelled it at my office and I was running late so I'll need to look at it when I get home.

i've seen a few times where a mouse or small animal is sleeping on top of a caliper and wakes up dead the first time the car moves or the brakes are applied.
wonder if that's it.

I don't think that's the case. The noise is coming from I would imagine is right in the center of the car, in the engine bay. Any other ideas?

Well I cant really think of anything for the burning plastic except, Maybe you ran over a plastic bag and it just stuck to your exhaust.

Ive see this numerous times at my shop, People Complain of Burning plastic, and it turns out to be that

Actually 9 out of 10 times its happend thats what it was, 1 time it was because a kid lowered his car by cutting the springs, and one tire ended up grinding against the inside of the wheel well, heh
