Default cutting a flange

hey guys

i'm looking at doing a DIY turbo project which will involve me fabricating up some manifolds / piping etc

i know plasma's are often used to cut a flange, but i dont think i want to stretch the budget too much for a tool i wont use that often

anyhow what other options do i have?
someone said a grinder with a lot of cutting discs but that sounds dodegy to me?

thanks

unless your gona be making lots of manifolds it might be cheaper to order flanges....

otherwise....

a plasma cutter wil be good for flanges but it would need to be a pretty powerful one... also a table drill would be good to have....

but best of all for flanges is a cnc machine..... right now im looking into a manual one.... you might have seen my thread a couple days ago.... i found a decent 700$ one which is about what a decent plasma cutter costs except a plasma cutter cant do everything a cnc machine can do....
