V-tec Kick
VTEC isn't engaged by temperature. rpms and throttle pressure activate VTEC at a certain predetermined rpm point. different point for each honda.

No, when you first start your car your engine is cold, if you punch the accelerator and hit the v-tec kick in point, your v-tec will not come on. V-tec is engaged electronically by a switch, but it doesnt switch unless your car is running at a certain temp. Get what I am sayin.
ahhh i see. first of all, why would you wanna go full throttle on a cold engine? that's a no no on any car. it's a fast route to the junkyard. but as for your question. i wouldn't know coz i wait til my car warms before i punch the accelerator. but i guess that's your answer, when it's warm. not be a smart *** or anything but it's common sense to give your car sufficient warm-up time before beatin on it. can't help you on this one.
