Default B16 running wierd after car warms up. Someone help.

I just picked up an 89 hatch with a b16 swap. once the car has been running/driving for about 20 minutes, the car begins to drop power some when the gas pedal is pressed some. I think it is the tps, cause it will pick back up if you press the pedal more or less. Also if you hold the pedal in one location you can feel a slight drop in power and gain in power. Any other suggestions? I tried swapping tps's, but think I swapped on a bad tps, cause I got a check engine, and tps code.

I got the same prob, my tps is cracked off the side but it still plugs in. If i drive the car fine the whole day it won't throw the code, but if i punch it once then it will throw the code. :\

the tps on the car right now had the back side of it broke off. I do not throw any codes with this tps though, just power is kind of jumpy under normal driving. If I floor the car it is fine.

I'm also going to try new plugs, cap, rotor, and wires.

Well if you still throwing a code for the tps and the other one is apparently bad then i would stick with adjusting it or replacing that one too if possible. You might wanna fix the code before spending money or time on new wires, cap, rotor, plugs and what not, just my opinion man. But anyways on a side note i have seen and heard of distributors acting pretty f***** crazy when they go out or on the verge of messin up.

I'm not throwing any codes right now, only when I use the other tps. But car still runs wierd with the current one which is cracked, but no codes.

So it doesn't come on even after say..15 mins of driving?, cause thats what mine does even though it is cracked. Well truth is it USE to come on after 15 mins of driving or so..then i adjusted the cracked one a little by hand one day when i installed my strut bar for the hell of it, and well since then it don't come on at ALL unless i punch it then it does...
