Default B16 TPS code

Ok i jus flashed my ecu an it is throwing a code 7 which is TPS what could cause this is it a bad tps or could my tps be leaking?

Also would this cause my car to run like ****/smoke

yep.. a bad tps makes the car run shitty and smokey. try unplugging the tps sensor, if its bad, there will be no change at all.

does your car also idle shitty?

yes it idels like **** it jumps from 875 or so to 1000 on my VAFC.

i unplugged it before i posted on here an there was no change at all so its a bad TPS???

absolutely you can source one from almost and honda Im no wiz with the electrical but i have used ones from single cams and been fine also you can buy them separately now I think omni power makes them.

yeah the one that is on there now was a single one cause my b16 one was junk now i have to go to the junkyard an try to find one

hey man, well, it wont make a difference which tps you use like stated before. but the only problem with using one through a junkyard is you never know if electricals are good.. remember they sit outside year round and so many people can some pretty weird **** to them. haha but, good luck with it, im glad i could help ya!


just remember, people do weird **** to cars in junkyards! those cars have been [freak]ed....literally.
