Default Ls motor

Im so confused on ls motors dont know which one to get and I want to get one that is reliable when I buy it because its going to be my DD for a while.....where can I get a good ls motor with every thing excpet a tranny and I want to get a cable tranny can some one help me out and on the swap what will I need will i have to do any thing with the frame or is it just a drop in

I've searched

edit: i want OBD1

I've been search for 30 mins at least and still havent found what i wanted but never mind if you dont want to help any one that has answers can you help

you want obd1 and cable tranny? if so try and get a complete swap from 92-93 integra ls,rs,gs...search your local junkyards 1st

also i wouldnt worry about reliabilty as long as you do the swap right,, these are honda motors after all ,

if you want to stay on the budget side... id recommend searching junkyards and local shops. junkyards you could pick up a running ls longblock for around $200, might want to replace the gaskets, give it a tuneup and such though as well. for the tranny, you could use the ls tranny since it doesnt sound like your interested in running 14's.

basically just try to find the 90-93 integra axles, intermediate shaft, ecu, wire harness, and shift linkage from the junkyard (for those to work, you will need the motor out of a 90-93 integra) get some mounts off avidracing, hasport or arizonaracing
