i dont understand why you would be converting why dont you just get a hydro tranny and it would be fine. well what set up are you going with are you going to turbo later down the road or all motor. for all motor i would go with the hyrdo si tranny they are cheap and have pretty short gears if you want turbo go with a ls tranny hope this helps

Your 95 dx has a hydro tranny in it right now so you wont need to deal with the conversion.

yes, unless previously converted to cable.

dont get an itr tranny, the gearing is too close for a b18b, you will top out somewhere around 115mph in 5th gear. also for the money of an itr tranny wyou can have a ls or maybe even a gsr tranny with a quaife in it. go with the gsr tranny (as i have done) or perhaps an ls trans with a lightweight flywheel to help you rev up faster

?

Did you mean the ITR tranny gearing is too short? Because while GSR gears are actually a little longer than the ITR, they're just about as close, from gear to gear. And actually the GSRs that came with the YS1 trannies have shorter 1st and 5th gears than the ITR trannies and have identical gear ratios for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th gear, reverse, and final drive to the 96-97 spec ITRs trannies.

if you want to go boost get an ls tranny with an aftermarket LSD and you will be golden. the b16 will have you topping out at around 120 in 5th.

my friend has a built gsr motor with a 62-1/t4 with a b16 lsd trans and he finishes in fourth at rougly 120ish @ 10.9?? i would personally go with the gsr trans over the ls for boost... itr/ctr trans for all motor setup
