Default My '00 DB8 GSR... Freshly rebuilt engine...and right off the dyno....

'00 GSR Sedan:

Brand new rebuilt B18C1 to stock specs except 0.25 over ITR pistons
Rebuilt by Sportcar Motion

Stock internals
Stock catalytic converter
Comptech header
2.25" catback w/ Apex'i WS2 muffler
AEM Cold Air Intake
Hondata S100 in a P72 ECU

Tuned by Church Automotive Testing

wow very impressive.. with stock internals?...not bad, not bad at all, wonder whats the whp on a bone stock b18c1? maybe like 154 maybe?

Compared to the oil burning p.o.s. it used to be, it feels like it was given new life. It revs so freely and ,what little power it has, comes on so smoothly. It almost feels like someone elses car.

Or even an brand new ITR shortblock for like $2500 from oil pan up. Selling your block would offset the full price of the new shortblock.

Sounded like this guy needed a rebuild anyway due to oil issues... going boost would have probably doubled what he spent...
