Pistons/Comp/Fuel?!...
Putting standard sized CTR or ITR pistons into my GSR, will i need to bring the compression down to run on 91 oct? And if so how would i do that and where would the compression be at?, its a daily driver car, and its not practical for me to run on anything higher. It aint no race car, but still want some kick. Thanks!
well if your going to put CTR or ITR pistons in your going to raise your compression. a few other thing to look at is a fuel pressure regulater and gauge always should be using 91 or higher octane in a vtec motor. you cant change the compression once everything is together, you will also have to mess with your timing so you wont ping. try searching.
ill have the fpr, fuel rail, fuel pump, injectors and all that upgraded, i assume after the pistons are put in, i gotta get it tuned asap to see what type of fuel i should be running? I had my share of built motors, just my first time with a GSR now, instead of LS/VTEC from before.
