The easiest way is to just use an oil filter sandwich adapter and run the lines from it to the radiator and then back to it.

That's for an automatic tranny to cool the fluid, but if you don't mind more places for oil to leak on your car, then just just get a sandwich adaptor like /\/\he said.

I understand that adding external oil lines would increase the chances of having an oil leak, but wouldn't the benefits of having an oil cooler greatly outweigh the risk of a small leak?

I guess it really depends on whether or not you have problems with oil temp. A high hp turbo setup would benefit from an oil cooler a lot more than someone with just I/H/E...

That's true... but seeing as how engine oil is the lifeblood of your engine, I've just always thought that it was a great idea to have an external oil cooler ( as long as the oil cooler has a thermostat to keep it from staying too cool )

I dont know about the radiator you've got but the tranny cooler lines I've seen on V8's really arent that big and I doubt that it would flow enough oil.

The passage from the oil pump to the filter is pretty big and you're basically gonna choke it down by running it through that cooler before it gets to you're filter.

Like I said I havent seen youre radiator, but its just something to think about.
