K today I was driving and getting onto the freeway and shifting from 2nd-3rd I heard a long nasty grind, which has never happened before. On the freeway it was hard to get into any gear and when I got back into town it got even worse. Now it is nearly impossible to put it into any gear, especially first and second, which make a loud "cheeep" sound when I let the clutch out. If I try to let the clutch out below 3k, the car shakes and lurches like crazy
WTF did I do? Is my throwout bearing messed up? That's what I'm guessing. Checked my mc reservoir and tranny fluid levels and they are both ok.
Thanks in advance.

Sounds like the pressure plate is having some issues. I had the same thing happen, car felt like it was always in gear. It turns out one of the springs on the pressure plate broke off. G'luck.

hmm it appears as if my clutch reservoir fluid level is getting lower, which would indicate a bad slave cylinder.
tried to check it out today, car wouldn't even stay in a gear w/ clutch pressed in w/out making a horrible noise. oh well off my my buddy's shop w/ it I guess.
