Default how can i test the igniter and coil??

i need to check my igniter and coil (my car has trouble starting) i've searched and couldnt find much help, if someone has instructions (pics would be nice also) please share (my manual is in storage )

i believe if you take it to autozone, they offer free testing there.

on the square plug the green and yellow wire is always hot ground it to spark the coil

any other ideas?

yellow green stripe get a test light or regular wire, put it on the neg. bat terminal, poke or cut and touch the wire to the yellow green stripe wire and listen for a zap.
