i just put in a used m2a4 tranny from the importers and before i swapped it in I had allot of play in the shifter
and now its sometimes hard to go into certain gears after trying a few times, the mechanic said the shifter linkage may be the problem or shifter, just wondering what it could be and how this mechanism works...would i need the linkage and the shifter etc??
anyone had previous problems with allot of play in the shifter and having trouble getting into gears? will a new shifter linkage or shifter fix the problem..would i need both or just the linkage? or can my tranny be bad?? but i had this problem before when i had my bad tranny as well...could there be a bind in the shifter linkage...would i need the shifter box part as well?
