Trans fluid question
I filled in the second bottle and didn't finish the second bottle and it started coming out. So, I guess we need less than 2 quarts for trans fluid?
I have quite a bit left, about 1/4 quart, just want to confirm with you experts.

is the car even?
when i did mine, I did the same thing as you. i figured because the front was higher, it wasn't fulling to capacity, so i just dumped the rest of the quart in and then put in the drain plug.

All B series hydro trannies should be about 2.5 quarts or so. Did you drain it completely? If not, it could be that there was still about half a quart inside. It does take a while for all of it to drain.
yeah, I remember putting 2 and a part of the third bottle in mine when I changed my tranny fluid. specs says 2.3 US quarts
you sure you pulled the correct plug to drain from? (don't know if there is such a thing as a "wrong" plug)

I just did mine this weekend, and it took a little less than 2.5 quarts. The service manual says it should take 2.2 quarts when you do a change (2.3 if you're filling it from dry).

Not all of the fluid came out then. I did this recently and intentionally had the car uneven so more fluid will come out. Then I levelled her out and filled it. Took a little over 2.5 quarts this way.
