swaping out my b18b1 head. (HELP HELP)

Default swaping out my b18b1 head. (HELP HELP)

ok guys.. i have got to the point where i took the valve cover off (ofcourse) noww im not sure if i was supposed to but i went ahead and took out my cam gears.. but it seems like there is sumthing holding the cam shafts (like a metal bracket.) there like 6 metal brackets holding the camshafts ... my question is how do i take those off? is there anything else i would need to do? please help .. thanks!

Do yourself a favor go and purchase a helms manual.

Yes those are cam caps and they are bolted on.
There is a sequence to removing and torqueing them.

Seriously dont touch anything else until you get some kind of instructions with you, weither it be Helms, Chelton, or a write up you find online.

ok. im trying to find some repair manuals on the internet.. but all of em are for sale.. are there any free instructions? or would i have to go buy one? lol
