Default Question about Catch Can, confused on one small thing...

So I am about to order the Jaz Catch can. I know that when boosted we need to let the pressurized air out of the crankcase/block. My questions is how does just adding the catch can help this, or is there another trick I need to do? I have tried researching and I just find info on installing and what not. Im thinking creating the vacuum on the block/and trapping the shitty air are different areas. Any help is appreciated. Sorry for the noob question

No body?

Cliff notes: Can i just delete the pvc valve and add a can with the breather filter on it. Will this be enough to keep the crankcase not pressurised?

If your talking about the d16y8 you have in your sig, then yes that will work but the line connecting the pcv goes to a black box on the block.

The best thing to do is remove the black box and put a fitting in the hole it came out of. Run the line from the fitting to the can.

Most of the JAZ cans have two fittings on them. You can either plug one of them, or tap your valve cover and run a second line to the can.

--My Catch Can Setup--
(this does not mean you need to run yours this way)
2 JAZ Catch cans with breathers

One larger can is connected to the black box that I cut open and removed the baffle out of and welded back together with a 10 an fitting. One 10an braided line to the can. The other fitting on the can was plugged.

The other smaller can is connected to the two 6an fittings I welded on the valve cover. Two 6an braided lines run to the can.

My main question though, is will that keep the crankcase from being pressurised?

Also there wouldnt be any vacuum correct? Basically jut open to atmospheric pressure.
