Default Got my HIDS, but have a question

The bulbs that came in the kit appear to be reflective. They don't have the ring halfway down the bulb. Is this going to be a problem?

[Edit] Please scroll down to help with installation problems now the the question above has been answered. [/Edit]

If it's for the 9006/low beam ... you're not supposed to have the ring half way down the bulb. It should just be a "bare" bulb (for projectors).

Yeah, it's for the 9006 low beams. I always thought the projection bulbs had the ring.

You mean a shield around the bulb?

D2S bulbs do not have that shield.

Okay. That's what I thought. Now, is this going to be a problem if I go ahead and use the relective bulbs?

Here's a comparison between the D2S and D2R's:

Okay. I understand now. Now can someone please translate this diagram for me? I just thought that I unplugged the wire going to the original bulb and plugged it into the ballast and then plug the HID bulb into the ballast. But I got this whole relay and all of these cords.

The diagram translation is this I'm pretty sure..

White= Original headlight +12 volts with the switch at the plug
Black from Power Output=Ground from the plug
Red= +12 volts from the battery
Green=to the light connectors to HID's
Black=Ground to chassis

So where do I plug the white into, and I actually have to run a wire to the battery?
