So when i get of the clutch to start movin i hear a tick i change a gear and hit the gas it ticks when i go over bumpy road it ticks it feels like its coming from the passengers side wheel its not a consistant tick just if i do what i said above.

any ideas

 

theres no ticking once i start driving at a good speed its only when i switch a gear then hit the gas or go over a speed bump it will tick feels and sounds like its coming from the passengers side

 

Have you checked your CV joints?

 

no i havent i was told it might be the cv's also
do u think theres a chance of it being a shaft

 

Make sure your lug nuts are tight. If it hasn't been like this long, it could be a problem

 

yea i just bought a 99 civic sir (si) but the noise just started today like u can kinda feel the tick when it happens

 

I had s similar problem with my crx and never did figure it out

But it made sounds like that for like 2 years and nothing happened

Mine did it a lot on gravel roads too

 

yea like if ur on a really bumpy road itll tick quite often its wierd

 

wierd that it ticks with the bump noise but my guess would have to be the cv joints and just check out your whole steering knuckle

 

yea like it ticks when engaging the clutch and gas or after changin a gear and hittin the gas or goin over speed bumps but like i said u can hear and kinda feel it from the passengers side

but yea ill get the cv's checked out

If it's the same thing I had it's not the CVs cus mine still did it after I replaced my axles

I'd say it's steering related
