weird weird problem... need help
ok, for the past 2 weeks iv been driving on the high way alot, and everyday, while im cruising in 5th gear the car like shuts off, feels and sounds like i just let off the gas.. i push the gas, nothing, no go and no rev, but when i push the clutch in and out its all good and i can keep driving
its like when ur going down the street and u turn ur car off going in what ever gear, and u put it to the "on" position and push the clutch and it starts back up... seems to be just like that
anyone ever heard of this? please help me
EDIT: i thought maybe it was the tranny cuz i just swapped it, and maybe it was slipping out of gear... but its not, it stays in gear and when i push the gas it doesnt even rev

if you have a friend with an eg, switch main relays and see if that's it. that's the only thing i can think of at this time, keep us posted!

My hatch did this lsat year when I was driving from VA to FL! It happened like 3 times in that one trip on I-85 and then it never did it again! However 2 monthes later I shot a rod through the block!
