i see that a lot of people used the p28 ecu for there setups. But isn't a p28 a sohc vtec ecu. Can someone tell why they use the p28 for a Bseries.

With the P72 you have more configurable outputs available. Knock sensor and the IAB are 2 things the P28 does not support. With the s300 you can use the IAB control for Nitrous control, Boost control, water injection or anything you would like.
i had a similar question, going to run s300 for gsr turbo set up but i see most people running a p28, that iab thing, isn't that the vac box in back of gsr mani? i was told i don't need it. so p28 or p72??

P05,P06 and P28 are the same family add or remove a few parts to make any of them. P75's and P72 are the same way...
Everyone knows hondas are pretty good on interchangeability, for OBD1 at least. I'm using a P06 and CROME for my ls-vtec, also you can control IAB's with P05,P06 and P28's if you add/remove a few parts there's directions on forum.pgmfi.org
