Default gsr brakes on 92 vx

i have a 92 vx hatchback with full gsr disc brakes, front and back. i also installed the 4040 proportioning valve. i bought oem acura brake pads from acura. i havent had them on for very long. the front look barely used, and the back is close to being metal to metal. i was wondering why my rear pads are wearing so fast? is this happening to anyone else? is it because of the proportioning valve? thanks

check the e-brake cables, maybe its too tight and dragging on the rear, wearing down the pads

i was hoping that was the problem, but i checked it already. with the rear jacked up, the wheels spin with low drag, they spin freely

what's the condition of the rear disk itself? pitted or scored?
what type of pads are you using?

I have a 92 VX that I rode on a 3030 PV (stock PV) with upgraded fronts and disk rear for a while, no abnormal wear. Just braking felt strange, the 4040 took care of that.

What kind of pads and how long have you had them on for? I have gsr rear disc brakes and don't have any problem with wearing down pads too fast. Use ceramic pads, good braking and better for the rotor.

Well I don't know why there wearing down that fast. Try changing too ceramic if you're desperate, they might work out better for you.
