Default New Car/Hey

Hey... I'm Dan and new here and I just got my first car this weekend, a silver 00 v6 coupe... I know these things are great cars, but I was wondering what they are really capable of... If you have anything to say about the car and how they are, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

Dan

suggestions

trans cooler
save money for the trans you will need sooner rather than later
Delphi alt is crap consider replacing it with a oddessy 130a unit

First things I would do:

Change coolant, trans fluid, brake fluid, and ps fluid.
install a ground wire kit

Hey. I just added a '98 4-Door V6 to my "fleet."

LoveLoveLove the car.

It's completely new to me too, so tips aren't gonna be coming from me. At least for now.....

Enjoy your car. You chose well!

I'm Out

Honda doesn't have any reccomedations for that. But I personally change it when you can't see light through it (hold a flashlight to one side of the resevoir and look for the light on the other)

Yea saving money is a must I dont make a lot at work... Im looking into a cold air intake just to help give me some extra gas milage and a few more horses... I know there can be downsides to those... Would it be worth it? A friend told me it can crack the engine block or pistons if it cools too quickly...
