Re: Fluid Error (EtherEG93)
I thought the brakes and power steering used the same fluids. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
I know something uses the same fluid as the brake DOT 3 or DOT 4 stuff.

Re: Fluid Error (bethsg)
Do you think sucking the resevoir dry and refilling is enough. Could any of the brake fluid have already progresses toward the rack? I never started the car, I knew that would be a big mistake.

well, take a water bottle, fill it half with PS fulid and then top it off with brake fluid. if the brake fluid still floats on top about an hour or two later you might be okay, if the brake fluid sinks to the bottom or mixes you need to flush.
But to be safe you should just flush anyways.

Re: Fluid Error (old man neri)
i would just get all the **** out of the reservoir if you haven't ran it yet since you put the wrong fluid in.
if you want to flush the system you can disconnect the hose and turn the steering wheel back and forth keeping the reservoir topped off with the correct fluid.

Actually on a Honda you don't want to use ATF for p/s fluid or it'll start to leak and make noise... only use Honda p/s fluid in hondas. As for most other makes like toyota, gm, ford, etc.. you can use atf.
