Default GSR swap into 97 EK civic LX, what distributor to use?

I'm re-using my 97 LX/DX harness with the 99 GSR motor swap. The dizzy that came with the GSR motor is 2 plug, and my mechanic is telling me i need a single plug dizzy. So I'm confuzed as to which one dizzy to get for the swap. Let me know, I need this part to get the swap started! Thanks

If your motor is a 99 wouldnt it be a OBD2 already so it should have an OBD2 dizzy on it....

I dont know too much about Bseries but on a SOHC you have a OBD1 VTEC dizzy and you have the OBD1 non VTEC dizzy... maybe there differnt types of OBD2 dizzys...

Blah.. I tried...

If the dizzy he has is from the 99 GSR shouldnt it be an OBD 2 VTEC b series dizzy...

Get a 97 GSR dist. You could probably sell your obd1 dist, or even trade for one.
