Default Need Help with b18a1 obd0 into 96 Honda Civic EX

I just blew my motor in my 96 honda civic ex and all i have is a b18a1 obd0 engine. Im about to save up money to put in a GSR engine but until then i need a ride to work. What do i need for this swap? How would the wiring and ECU work? Thank You!

You need to take your stock ex harness and adapt it to fit the obd0 motor.
This will include changing the injector plugs, distirbutor plugs, alternator plug, fan switch plug, etc, etc.

Then you will need an obd2a to obdo jumper harness.

enjoy the ref ticket when you get pulled over. You can convert the motor to OBDIIa if you want.

I know that its illegal but i only plan on doing this for about a month. I need a ride to work. Im saving up for a b16a2 or a gsr engine until then. So.. i should convert the motor to obd2? What exactly do i need to change?

Its not as hard as people say. I've done it. To make the wiring easier just get a obd 2 LS distributor and keep your stock ex injectors so you will not have to cut any wires. Also get the obd1or2 thermostat housing which has the sensor on the housing instead of the back of the block. And like mentioned in the earlier post, you can get a obd2 to obd1 conversion harness or just get a 96 to 98 ls ecu that will plug straight into your harness. Also, if you go with the obd2 ecu, you will have to add the kfc sensor that goes on the oil pump.

you will need to use a 96=98 civic harness. You can reuse your ex harness but dont need to plug in the vtec wires, knock sensor plugs. You will need obd2 alternator, injectors, dist
