New shocks vs new tires?
I have $500.00.
What should I spend it on new shocks or new tires. The shocks are stock and orginal have 7 years and 65000 miles on them. The tires are stock Michelin XGT V4 on 15in alloys they have 28000 miles on them. The car is 1995 LS auto came with ITR rear sway, GSR front sway and GSR front shock tower strut. The owner also gave me a rear shock tower bar he said it makes the car too firm and twitchy in the rear so he took it off.
The car is a daily driver, I drive as fast as the traffic is flowing. I like a car that handles well and rides comfortably. I do not plan on having winter tires. Based on recommends from my previous post, I will likely choose the Dunlop SP5000 all season tires if you'all suggest tires over shocks.

get ride of the crappy stock tires. when you actually have grip you can start from there. getting a new suspenison now won't help you because your tires won't hold up when you can actually use the new suspension. just my .02
