Changing all 4 tires?
Two rear tires are damaged because of bad shocks. Normally I change all 4, but since the tires are more than 50% life, should I just do two?
I would on a "normal car," but like all of you, the car is just a bit special.
What would you do?

This is what i use to do.
Put my back 2 tires in the front, and put the 2 new ones in the back.
Edit: ^ **** that was when my front 2 tires went bad, i read your post wrong sorry. Put better tires in front.
Now i put the new tires in the front and keep the olds in the back because i need traction.

well, two new ones are better than two bad ones. if there's nothing wrong with the front two, then just changing the rear two. if you can afford to change all four, then change four, but if you're a budget guy like most of us, change two.

For what? You're telling me your FWD Turbo vehicle spins tires? Yeah right. Next, you're going to tell me your 4 cylinder makes over 200hp. Geez, people these days.

Rotate 'em? Put the front ones on the back and back ones on the front.... I dunno, that is quite the predicament. I have a tire problem as well. Need to replace all of them. I have new wheels to put the rubber on. But not enough money to get the tires or fix the CV boot.

uhh... his rear tires are bad... why would he want those on the front?
change all 4 tires.... save the 2 good ones for a rainy treadless day. after you get the struts replaced of course. then get a 4 wheel alignment.

You change tires by the pair. You should not change them by the singles (aka: one at a time). Generally, you should change the front as a pair and rear as a pair.
