Default Intercooler questions

Hey I'm going to be running a decently conservative h22 turbo setup.. Roughly 280-300 whp.... I'm just wondering how thick of a core'd intercooler to get

3"? 3.5"?

I'm going to be getting a knockoff (turbo xs) intercooler, because of the price and only positive comments about them

I think the 3" should be enough but it also depends on the actual core size not just thickness. On the topic of those turboxs intercoolers though, I've heard nothing but good about them

Heard nothing but good about these too, the waste gate is similar with about 90% of people having success with them. Majority say they are good but once in a while you have someone saying that it crapped out on them. If you do get one and when you get it, just take it apart and check everything is all good inside.

Thats true, but that extra 0.1% must apply to intercoolers then cos you really cant f'uck it up now can you? Unless you leave a massive hole in it
