cam gears off by a half a tooth

Default cam gears off by a half a tooth

when i have the crack pulley at TDC. My cam gears are like this


my question is how do i adjust my cam gears to make it TDC. heres a clearer pic of the cam gears


setup is a LSVtec with gsr water pump, gsr oil pump and gsr timing belt. the head was milled a little but dont remember. he told me that the timing wont change....

you did not include a pic of where the crank is. don't worry about them being off a little, as long as everything is tight. dyno will determine where the the cams should be set. on a sidenote, since you state you head was shaved, make sure that your timing belt is properly tensioned. many times the factory tensioner will not take up the all the slack even when adjusting as per helms. you will have to manually tension the belt. just a fyi.
