car: 1995 honda civic dx

problem: just swapped a jdm d15b into the car it had a cut harness....of the vtec solenoid is a single green/white or green/yellow wire (its faded) coming off this clip just sitting there.....anyone know what this is for and where i should plug/splice this wire into

having this not hooked up wouldnt cause the car to not start would it??
