On a turbo how can you tell which is the oil in and which is oil out??

Default On a turbo how can you tell which is the oil in and which is oil out??

I just bought i new Garrett turbo and i am eyeing it up. Which port in the center of the two housings is for the oil feed and which is for the oil return.

Thanks for any replies ahead of time

Also anyone have a HKS wastegate...need help bolting it up to a maxrev mainfold

return is much much bigger. Atleast it was in my case

I've got a Garrett t3 and a Mitsubishi td05-15g sitting here and the return on both is much larger. The oil-in uses an npt fitting while the return uses a flange with 2 bolts
