Joined the S2K bandwagon
just got back w/ my 2001 S2k
These things are so hard to find, maybe just becasue its summer, but ive been looking for a month or so. I used to own a Del Sol VTEC, then a Subaru Impreza L Turbo. I miss the convertable of the Del Sol, and Im happy to have the headroom and the power of the S2K. It lacks the Torque that the Subaru had, but I love Revving to 9000K rpm.
Glad to be part of the team.

ya, it does feel like home.
No offense to you guys, but I got rid of my del sol a few years ago, because I wanted to get out of the Ricer-Honda scene that exists in the PNW. If I saw one more Civic w/ _____ front end conversion, I was gonna shoot myself. The other reason I ditched the del sol is because im 6'3... I was hiting my head on the roof.
Anyways, the S2K is definately in a class of its own, its such a solid car, it gives me the headroom I need... and its SO fun to drive. I get the biggest grin on my face every time I get into it.
For right now, I plan on keeping it relatively stock... maybe a few Factory mods (i.e. chin spoiler)...
But then again, I don't know how long I can live w/o boost. we will see
Thanks for the great welcoming to the club! This is definately a more refined honda-tech than what I recall leaving.

It's not a got damned bandwagon. You are a Honda/S fanatic, or you're not. If you bought this car to get on the bandwagon, jump off that bitch head first, into a pile of sharp rocks.

LOL...welcome to the site, enjoy it here, and don't take anyone here too seriously. Car looks great, learn to drive it stock before you make any drastic changes, it will suprise you from time to time if you are not ready for it. It is a great car both stock and modified. Drive Safe!!
PS: Red and Black interior FTW!!

Oh don't worry, ive been a H-T member for years longer than that guy (under an old SN)
.. then I went to NASIOC, then I came back. At least the rest of you seem pretty respectful.
Ya these cars are great. I keep telling myself to leave it stock, but ive never been abe to do that yet! Im gonna work on getting comfortable w/ the RWD before I even think of adding more power. AWD has spoiled me, ha ha.
Thanks for all the great compliments! I really appreciate it!
